As a young private partnership law firm in China, Tahota celebrated its birth in 2000 under the approval of Department of Justice, Sichuan Province. Through six years’ hard work, on one hand, Tahota, headquartered in Chengdu, has an office in Beijing and a representative office in Hong Kong with 19 partners and more than 200 legal professionals and secretaries all over the three offices, most of which are graduated form prestigious universities in China or abroad and gain at least bachelor’s degree; On the other hand, Tahota boasts a great environment for working. Its Chengdu office occupies floor areas about 3,000 square meters and is functioned with modern office facilities. Adding these two elements together, Tahota has a strong ability to support its clients in legal fields with profession, diligence and loyalty. Today, Tahota has grown up to be one of the biggest and most famous law firms in West China.

Outstanding client service is a cornerstone of our practice that has withstood the test of geography, economy and time. We are proud of the recognition we have received from our clients for our commitment to service, and we value their satisfaction as the best measure of our success. Although Tohota gains numerous reputation in the past years, we know that it is impossible to offer our clients the correct legal advice without having a deep understanding of the present law and its future development, it is also impossible for our law firm to get a healthy and high speed development without eyes on the larger market, so Tahota never stops pursuing and achieving specialization, comprehensiveness, branding and internationalization. In the past years, Tahota has invited experts form different research areas to give lessons and members here are encouraged to join in it; Tahota also gives opportunities to excellent members to study advanced legal knowledge or experience abroad, thus, every year some lucky members can catch these opportunities; additionally, in the spare time, Tahota encourage members to embrace responsibilities that extend beyond our client work and Tahota lawyers are often invited to discuss legal issues in local media. All of the above things help Tahota to reach its goal.

·Awards
In 2001, Tahota was awarded “Provincial Civilized Law Firms” by Department of Justice, Sichuan Province.
In 2002, Tahota and WKLL (Woo Kwan Lee & Lo) agreed to set up a “Closer Cooperation Agreement” and Tahota’s Hong Kong representative office was established in the same year.
In 2003, Beijing office was established and Tahota outstood as the only winner of “Golden Lotus Cup” for law firms with great contributions.
In 2004, Tahota was recognized as “famous trademark in Chengdu”.
In June 2005, Tahata was awarded as “Outstanding National Law Firm” by All China Lawyer Association (ACLA).
